Request Phrasing Rules
A good phrasing of your request is a key to effective search. You should consider some special features of TeamWox:
- The search system considers the morphological structure of words. For example, if you search for the word "task", you will obtain all results containing both this word form and the words: "tasks", "tasking", "tasked", etc.
- During search specify the whole word, not only a part of it. For example, to search for the word "document", it is not enough to specify "docum".
- Search is not case-sensitive. All uppercases will be considered by the search system to be the same as lower-cases. For example, if you enter documents and DoCuMeNtS in the search line, you will obtain the same results.
- There is a list of so-called stop-words. These are empty words that are not considered by the search system, such as, for example: "what", "when", etc.
- A space between words is considered to be condition AND. It means that both words must be found in the element. For example, each element in the search results for "Message client" must contain both words.
- In order to set the condition OR in searching, you should enter the character "|" (without quotation marks) between the searched words. For example, each element in the search results for "client | contact" must contain either "client" or "contact".
When phrasing your search request, please try to enter key words. You should enter your key words in order of their priority and specificity (rarer occurrence in common language) to specialize the search as much as possible.
